Green Space

Peacekeepers Park

Surrounding the homes in Garrison Green are 50 year old trees and lush lawns, reinforcing the old-fashioned neighbourhood aesthetic. Ten percent of the community will feature open green spaces, including three parks and pathways that connect to the Calgary Regional Pathway System.

The three parks in Garrison Green are:

Peacekeepers' Park

The 1.85 acre (0.75 ha) Peacekeepers' Park features a bronze statue and a Wall of Honour that commemorates Canadian peacekeeping missions and pays tribute to those who have lost their lives. It also includes a tot lot and a large open grass area.
